You can’t have a site of tequila without mentioning margaritas, the world’s most popular cocktail, and one of the reasons for tequila’s growing popularity. Many people who start out enjoying a margarita graduate to appreciating fine tequila on it’s own. But for others, the cocktail is the supreme enjoyment. The tequila sunrise is undoubtedly the most famous tequila cocktail after the margarita. It’s been honoured in book titles, songs and movies.
In 1873, a young man named Don Cenobio Sauza bought a distillery in Mexico and began turning a rough local agave drink called ‘Vino Mezcal’ into the world-class spirit known as ‘tequila’. He created the very first family of tequilas and became the first to export tequila to the US. Today, Sauza stays one step ahead of the rest with unexpected ideas and fresh recipes. Some things, however, never change: Sauza gold and blanco tequilas are still created at the same distillery in Tequila, Mexico, named ‘La Perserverancia’, where Don Cenobio started it all.

Alyssa Mancini is the newest addition to the roster. This young beauty is currently in her final year of high school. She has enjoyed performing since she was little and has always been interested in drama and acting. Alyssa has seven years dance experience at a competitive level, performed in a school musical, and most recently starred in her school play “Nkammi” which made it to the Provincials in the Sears Drama Festival. She was then able to perform with a professional theatre company in Summerworks. Her dream after high school is to continue her education in Dramatic Arts as drama has always been a favourite subject of hers. She hopes to pursue a career as an actress and is happy to begin her journey with MAX Agency Toronto!

Toys are a bundle of little joy and enjoyment to toddlers and young kids. Toys have been associated with children throughout history and in all cultures, and will continue to do so. As such, playtime counts as one of the most fundamental and significant parts of childhood. While kids are dependent on us for food, and all other needs, toys prove to be their companion and friend for the first few years of their life. Toys are important and let children use their imagination to showcase their creativity.
Looking back at toy commercials from the 1980′s is a throwback to much simpler days. Today, with the advent of technology, the internet and social media, kids are growing up at a much faster rate and playing with much more complex toys from an earlier age. It also weakens the barrier function of the skin, allowing toxins to penetrate, and leading to wounds, infections and even skin cancers. As if that’s not enough, sleep deprivation contributes to obesity, affecting your health, as well as your appearance.
So, the appearance of a sleep-deprived person? Besides those dark circles under their eyes, they’re wrinkled and overweight. Pass me that pillow!
