We are very excited to announce that Max Agency’s own Genevieve and Aryan will be featured in Drake’s upcoming music video in Toronto!

Canadian-born Drake is an international artist, rapper, and actor and he will be filming his new music video in Toronto and the award winning Director X will be directing this upcoming video. He’s known for his role on the Canadian TV show Degrassi and later on collaborating with artists like Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Jay-Z, Trey Songz, and Kanye West. With the albums Thank Me Later (2011) and Take Care (2012), this is only the beginning for Drake.

Austin K and Kay D of MAX Agency Toronto have the awesome opportunity to audition for the City of Brampton’s new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service, Zum! How great is that?!

Zum, pronounced “zoom”, was created to provide Brampton residents with an efficient, comfortable, high frequency service. The first BRT line, Zum Queen Street started in September 2010 and runs from Brampton, Ontario to the transit hub at York University. A year later, Zum expanded and included a whole new line. This fall, Zum Steeles Avenue will start operating between the new Brampton Gateway Terminal and Humber College’s North Campus in Toronto.

Zum offers a limited amount of stops to ensure riders get to their destination sooner and real-time ‘next bus’ information at all station stops and terminals. It also comes equipped with a series of advanced technologies, reliability, comfort and seamless integration.

Austin K is a man of many talents! He can easily master several accents like Asian, Australian, Jamaican, French, British and West Indian! Austin is East Indian and has a number of amazing performance skills. He can sing, with vocal ranges between bass, baritone and bari-tenor. He can also host, model, whistle, do magic tricks, mime and improv, just to name a few! And Kay D is just so great at what she does! She’s already booked Revera Retirement Living print ad and a Canada Purple Shield commercial! We know these two would be perfect for Zum’s print ad!

Toronto MAX Agency’s Ian C has landed an audition for a commercial with Canadian coffee giant, Tim Hortons! How exciting!

As Canada’s largest fast food service, Tim Hortons is known for their coffee, doughnuts and affordable prices. Tim Hortons, often called “Timmys” was founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario by Canadian hockey player Tim Horton and Jim Charade. In 1967 Horton partnered with Ron Joyce who took over the business when Horton died in 1974. Ron Joyce eventually the chain into a multi-million dollar franchise. As of July 1, 2012 Tim Hortons has 4,701 restaurants in total with 3,326 in Canada and 734 in the United States.

Ian C

Ian C is great at his craft and can speak with two different accents, Scottish and British! When it comes to his performance skills Ian can model, DJ and sing (his vocal range is a bass). He’s also quite active with experience in boating, fly fishing, volleyball, ice hockey and frisbee just to name a few! We are confident Ian will be a shoe-in for the Tim Hortons commercial because of his strong, relatable features and amazing acting skills!

Awesome news! Kelly G of Toronto’s MAX Agency has landed an audition for a commercial with Canadian telecommunications giant Bell Canada! If all goes well, Kelly will play the role of an artsy, eccentric design girl!

Bell is Canada’s largest communications company. Founded in 1880 with their headquarters located in Montreal, Quebec, Bell provides broadband and communication services to business and residential customers in Canada. Their services include high-speed Fibe Internet, Fibe TV, Satellite TV, Bell Mobility, Virgin Mobile and home phone and long distance services. Still doesn’t ring a bell? The next time you happen to make a phone call on a pay phone, make sure to check out the logo!

Kelly G

Kelly G would be great for the Bell commercial! With those long, luscious curly locks and piercing eyes, she would make the perfect art-loving gal! Speaking of the arts, this West-Indian/Middle Eastern/Canadian bombshell is extremely talented, with skills in hip hop dance and ballroom. She can also do improv and play the piano. Kelly is athletic as well, with kickboxing, sculling, martial arts, swimming and canoeing underneath her belt (just some of her many talents!).

Great news! Elzbieta K of MAX Agency has landed an audition with television drama, Covert Affairs. If she aces the audition, Elzbieta will play the role of Katarina.

Covert Affairs is a television series drama starring Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham. The one-hour drama is about a young CIA operative/trainee named Annie Walker (Perabo) who has been sent out to work for the DPD (Domestic Protection Division). August Anderson (Gorham) is a blind, tech operative who plays as Walker’s guide in her new life working with the CIA. Walker’s cover-up story is that she works in Acquisitions at the Smithsonian Museum.

Elzbieta K

Elzbieta K is a jack of all trades and would be perfect for the role! Among many talents, Elzbieta excels in martial arts, kayaking, weight lifting, tennis and sailing. She can dance to both jazz and hip hop and can play the piano. She also speaks fluently in English, Russian and Polish.

MAX Agency’s Alexander M has landed an audition for a photo shoot with the Maple Leaf & Entertainment (MLSE) Team Up Foundation!

With the support of all four of Toronto’s sports teams, The Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC, Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays, the MLSE Team Up Foundation funds the refurbishment of local athletic facilities and programs that support kids through sports and recreation. Since launching in December 2009, they’ve invested more than $6.5 million into communities, refurbishing 29 facilities. They have refurbished hockey rinks, basketball courts and soccer pitches. As the foundation grows, MLSE Team Up Foundation plans to seek even greater collaborations with local community and charitable partners.

Alexander M

Alexander M is very athletic and would fit in perfectly with the MLSE Team Up Foundation photo shoot. He plays a variety of different sports like baseball, basketball, golf and soccer. He enjoys extreme activities like jet skiing, mountain climbing, snowboarding and snowmobiling! Alexander can also swim, cycle and play pool. He has the handsome, rugged look the job is looking for so we just know he’d be a shoe in!

The Family Channel (Family) is a channel specifically marketed to children and teenagers ages 2-15. Programs featured on the channel primarily consist of Canadian-prduced original series, or current/archived original programming imported from the Disney Channel in the U.S. Also featured on The Family Channel occasionally are theatrically released feature films which are also from the United States. The kid friendly channel has been around since 1988 and continues to grow and expand. Family’s current top shows include Shake it Up!, Phineas and Ferb, A.N.T. Farm and Austin and Ally. Sound familiar?

Exciting news! MAX Agency’s Svetlana F, Karen N and Genevieve C will be auditioning to become a judge on YTV’s Zoink’d 2!

YTV is a Canadian specility channel that is geared towards youth. Around since 1988, YTV has aired hundreds of shows throughout the years. Does Sailor Moon and ReBoot ring a bell? What about The Jetsons, Wishbone or Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Chances are more than likely you’ve watched these shows on YTV. Fast forward to now and they have a new show called Zoink’d!

Zoink’d is an unusual talent competition series where adults show off their weird or strange talents and the kids do all the judging. The adults have approximately one minute to show the judges what they can do. 20 seconds into their performance, if the judges are not entertained they can hit the “zoink” button and vote to eliminate them. If the adult act gets less than three “zoinks”, they will receive points from the judges, qualifying them to stay in the competition. At the end of the show, the act with the most points wins.

YTV is looking for some cute kids with outgoing personalities to become a judge on Zoink’d 2!

Genevieve C and Selena B of MAX Agency have  been given the amazing opportunity to audition for a television series pilot for The Haunted Hathaways on Nickelodeon!

Nickelodeon is an American children’s channel that is quite similar to Canada’s Family Channel. It is primarily geared towards children in grade school and teens. Nickelodeon is so big they even have their own award show called the Kids Choice Awards. They are the genius’ behind animated series Doug, Rugrats, The Ren & Stimpy Show and SpongeBob SquarePants. Nickelodeon helped launch the careers of some of todays stars like Nick Canon, Melissa Joan Hart, Keenan Thompson, Jamie Lynn Spears, Venessa Lengies and Elisha Cuthbert!

The Haunted Hathaways is about a family who discovers they are not living in their new home alone! Another family seems to have taken up residence, a family of ghosts. If Genevieve C or Selena B are successful in their audition, they will be playing the role of Taylor Hathaway!

MAX Agency’s Ava G, Kiara S and Ryanna H have landed an audition for a print ad with discount retail giant, Target!

Target is an American retail company and is the second-largest discount retailer in the United States, behind Walmart. As of November 2011, the amount of Target locations within the U.S. was reported as being 1, 767. The retail giant sells a multitude of products ranging from clothing and toys to furniture and electronics. In 2013, Canada can expect to see a whopping 100-150 stores pop up in the country. In January 2011, Target announced they would be purchasing 220 locations of Canadian retail chain, Zellers, hence the recent closures. Target plans to use the locations to set up what would be considered, Target Canada.

Ava G, Kiara S and Ryanna H

We believe all three of these cuties have the potential to book the job! Target is looking for kids with great energy, good personalities and the ability to dance. Ava G is a dancer and she can even do gymnastics! Kiara S and Ryanna H are two active children and could boogie on down at the drop of a dime!
